Hi peeps.
Need some advice.
I need a new macbook pro, mine is 5 years old and running very slowly.
I want to buy a new one but i saw they didn't release it with the Broadwell processors. Shall i wait? Is it worth it?

It is always best to wait.
broadwell is just a die shrink of haswell, get the current models, the next major release will be skylake, and its release is totally up to intel, and its integration to apple will be another wait...the new retina combines force touch, and a faster ssd, lets just say speed wont be an issue
Since speculation isn’t permitted on this site (and would be useless anyway) I can only fall back on the same advice I’ve been giving for nearly 30 years. If you need a new computer buy it, don’t wait for some pie in the sky promise of any day now there will be something better. That promise is always true even after the latest something better has been delivered there’s now something new just ahead. That’s a mug’s game. If you need it, get it. If you can wait then do so.
A five-year-old machine should still be capable of good performance, perhaps after a memory upgrade. I suggest you start a new thread with a full description of the problem.
One can save a lot of money by always waiting.

The early 2015 MacBook Pro 13" i5 and i7 models DO contain Broadwell processors (14nm)
The 2015 MacBook Pro 15" i7 models have Haswell/Crystalwell processors (22nm)
Shall i wait for Broadwell processors?
