Access Denied error after import then erase

Hello Everyone,

I have the iPhone 6 plus. I am using windows 8.1. I am having a problem where after I import my photos-videos I get an access denied error (Image example below) when trying to erase the photos after import.

Any Windows users out there that had the same problem and has a fix for this? If not, anybody that can point me in the right direction is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Is there anybody here that would be willing to answer or might have an idea. I just can't find a solution.

Thank you!

All the information in the original post is the same except I am now using Windows 10.
