photos does not show as a syncing option in iTunes?

I upgraded to photos but it does not show as a synching option in iTunes? Has anyone else seen this? I have two user accounts on the Mac mine (admin) and the wife. Her account shows llows photos as a synch source and transfers photos to her iPad and iPhone no problem. On my account the option of using photos as a synch source in iTunes does not appear?? Thoughts?
