Water damaged/DEAD iPhone 6 - ways to retrieve data?

I sadly dropped my iPhone 6 in a toilet 3 days ago and it seems it is dead for good. I can get the screen to come on (black apple on white) for a few seconds, but that's all. I have most of my photos and videos imported, but really need my Notes! I used them to journal the birth and first weeks of life of my first born, and they are not backed up. (Yes, I know, I know...my fault. Kicking myself.) I've seen DriveSavers as an option, but they quoted me $1,400-$1,900. Holy crap. Are there any other options that you know of or have had success with?

Thank you.

DriveSavers and similar services are the only option if you can't wake the phone. And they don't guarantee success for that price.

And there's a high probability they cannot recover your data.
