Serial Number restoration

How do I restore my Serial Number if my logic board was replaced? iChat only works with an internal serial number, so I am wondering if there is a way that I can restore it to the system. Can an Apple store fix this?

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.4)

You cannot. I believe the Apple Store technician should be abke to do it.

That it to an Apple store. The techs have the software to copy it to the new board.
