Is an Apple Cinema HD Display (from 2008) compatible with the new Mac Pro?

I currently have a 2008 Mac Pro with a Cinema HD Display. Will my HD Display be compatible with the new Mac Pro, or do I have to get a new monitor?

Mac Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

Yes, it is. You need a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter, and if the monitor has an ADC plug, a DVI to ADC adapter.

Conventional wisdom is 'you can not "stack" adapters'.

But in the case of the lexan and white cinema display, the DVI-to-ADC adapter (with power supply) turns it into a virtual DVI display, which can then be connected to the Mac with one [more] adapter.

Wider than 1920 wide requires the much more expensive Dual-Link DVI adapter.
