Q: Travelling Over Seas

My husband will be travelling overseas and I want to buy him an ipad so that we can Skype and facetime. Currently we have one email address and one ipad. Do I need to set up a separate email address for him. He does not have an Apple Phone so not sure his phone number would be of use

iPhone 4S, iOS 5.1

He should get his own Apple ID, and use it as his Facetime ID. For Skype he can continue using his Skype ID. You can link his Apple ID to yours using Family Sharing: Family Sharing - Apple Support
