Need update driver perhaps to connect Mac to Epson printer Workforce 323/325 Series (I have the disc)?

If the printer does not have Wi-Fi built-in, then you could use an access point like an Airport Express to which the printer is connected by USB or Ethernet, then tied into the local network wirelessly.
Try resetting Printing System:

This allows you to use newer drivers supplied on Apple servers.
