get my iphone contacts back by restoring from backup but gets removed again when an iCloud syn

I accidentally deleted my iphone 6 contacts later get them back by restoring them from itune backup, but gets removed again when complete the reboot procedure when icloud sync in, I guess the restoring contacts were older than the current emptied icloud contacts (deleted by mistake) so it was over written, is there a way to resolve this problems, thanks.
