2011 MacBook Air disconnects from wifi

My wife and I have identical 2011 MacBook Air laptops, running Yosemite 10.10.3.

Sporadically, our laptops lose wifi connection, and won't reconnect. Restarting our BrightHouse Ubee modem/router fixes the problem, but that's not much of a solution. It seems to work okay for a while, but sometime later, it'll disconnect.

We've looked online for all kinds of solutions such as deleting and re-adding the networks, zapping the SRC and PRAM, and deleting network preference files. Nothing has fixed it. This reminds me of the very early days with my MacBook Air when we used to have to toggle wifi on and off to get a reconnect. That doesn't even work any more.

Is it time to visit the Genius Bar?

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), we have two and they match
