Only one family member can use the Apple TV as a HomeKit Hub?

The HomeKit support page suggests you can use your Apple TV as a HomeKit Hub - to operate devices at home while you are not at home - if you are logged in on your iOS device with the same Apple ID used in the Apple TV.

It does not specify if it is talking about an iCloud login or a Home Sharing login. If we find that it is via iCloud login then only one family member will be able to use the hub. If the iOS devices connect via the Home Sharing login then obviously more than one user can partake in the use of the Hub.

Can anyone who is using the Apple TV as a Hub please confirm the possibility of multiple users operating devices from outside the home. e.g. 'Turn off all the lights.'

No speculations please. No guesses. Just first hand experience or reference to Apple documentation that explains the process. - Thanks.

Nope - looks like they forked this one up. It's appleidand not home sharing id

there doesn't seem to be a place to sign into homekit as a separate user that I can see or any mention of family share
