How can you add selections to the Apple TV menu?
You can't add anything that you didn't previously hide via the "Main Menu" part of Settings.

Thanks although not what I wanted to hear i do appreciate knowing now. It's only showing the limits of the program's programming software doing it's job.
Thanks agin, it seems I'm not able to do what I want which is to add or delete icons to my likings instead of leaving the discussion to someone that doesn't care.
What is it you are looking to add? Just curious what the result is you are looking for... there might be some other way.
