iPhone Call History On Two Phones

I have a business phone and a personal phone. I have one Apple ID. I am NOT sharing my Apple ID with anyone else, both phones are mine. Why are the calls I make and receive on my personal phone (Sprint Carrier) appearing on my business phone (Verizon Carrier)? How do I get it to stop! I do not want anyone to be under the impression that these calls are actually being made on my business phone. It matters because this is a Government issued phone and it is subject to Public Records Requests. Creating a new Apple ID for my business phone is not an option because I would lose my purchases that are on both phones.
