OSX and FCS3

Hi Guru's,

Currently running 10.6.8 (I know, I know !!) on my 2011 MBP.

Now having trouble launching iphoto, always hangs. Force quits and re opening Iphoto seems to bring it back to life.

So, I'm thinking an update to the new world is possibly the problem.

However, I run FCS (with FCP 7.03) which I don't wish to loose just yet (or go to FCP X) and I understand there is no longer any support for FCS in the new world.

So what does Mr Apple suggest I do ?

Thanks in advance.....

Hello sprintman,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

If iPhoto is becoming unresponsive as you launch it, then I'd like you to please follow through the rebuilding options in the article below. As the window states, it is vital that you back up your iPhoto Library before continuing through any of the repair options.

iPhoto 6 and later: Rebuilding the iPhoto library - Apple Support

Take care,
