Apple "Auto Capture" USB stick??

So I bought a 2008 MacBook Pro from a church community for $150 because it was in fantastic condition for 7 years old. In the box was the macbook, a case, the old AirPort express, the charger and some other stuff, but in a small white container labeled "USB MEMORY" I found a small USB stick with "Auto Capture" written on the front (Written by apple, almost like a device 'engraving') with a small label below it reading "Ver 1.20". I searched heaps for an answer as to what this is, but can't seem to find it anywhere. Please help and tell me what it does etc.!
