If I purchase a new iMac will iTunes Match restore all my music to the new computer?
I want to purchase a new iMac. Will iTunes Match restore all my music, downloaded and burned music to the new computer?

Then you should use -> Migration Assistantto get all your user data from old computer to new computer...
I know migration assistant can work...but will iTunes Match download all my music to the new computer if I choose not to use Migration Assistant?
Yes, it should all be there and you can choose to download it. It doesn't automatically download.
Everything I need on a new iMac is available in the App Store...I'd rather take a short cut and not use Migration if possible.
Thanks for the info!

Except for all you user data and settings...
You can download from Match what has been Matched. You may have items on the computer which were not matched (e.g. low resolution music). You may have music on the computer that is higher resolution than that provided in a Match which will only return the Match quality.
You may have items in iTunes that are not included in Match such as ringtones, movies. etc. Not everything from the iTunes Store can be re-downloaded.
Match won't regenerate your ratings, play count, playlists, date added. It just provides a Match version of whatever was matched from your original collection which may not be identical.
In other words you are better off migrating.
