Has anyone else experienced listening to a podcast in iTunes when it suddenly skips forward to the next podcast? It does not seem confined to a particular podcast though it has happened more frequently with some podcasts than others.

Yes, I am having this problem, too! And it is extremely obnoxious. Seems like a major bug in iTunes, and Apple does not seem to offer any solutions to this. I think they'll have to patch it in a future release, so they better get on it. I'm using iTunes 12.2.1.16 on my Macbook Pro Retina 13inch Mid 2014.
Also experiencing the podcast skipping on Windows-7 PC. So far, downloading rather than streaming seems to fix it.

I'm having this issue on iTunes 12.3.2.35 on OSX 10.10.5. Seems to happen every 6-8 minutes.
Same problem but with El Capitan and iTunes 12.3.3.17 it was from from the cloud. Then I downloaded and it worked fine. Other suggestions about file permissions does not work in El Capitan and another fix was to find info and uncheck skip while shuffling that also did not work. So it appears its a cloud issue. And erratic.
Its amazing...this is STILL an issue. Years after posting that there are issues in Apple Support communities, there has been nothing to fix it.
