Help! I'm suddenly unable to get a word count on my Appleworks 6 document. I'm on a Mac mini 1.83/2x512/80 Combo and using OSX Version 10.6.8.

Help! I'm suddenly unable to get a word count on my Appleworks 6 document, and on a Mac mini 1.83/2x512/80 Combo and using OSX Version 10.6.8. I've gotten a word count before, but for some reason today I can't get that information. What could have happened? Thanks.

Don't know, but you can always use Textwrangler from http://www.barebones.com/ to accomplish the same thing after copy/pasting the contents into there.

Anytime an application stops working as it was the first troubleshooting step is to delete its preferences. See my user tip, AppleWorks has stopped working correctly, for more information on deleting the AppleWorks preferences.
