Iphone 6 headphone jack not working

I was sitting on the bus today listening to music and my headphones just stopped working. I have tried multiple pairs of headphones and still nothing. I have also checked to see if there is anything in the port and there is nothing. It works slightly when I put the headphones in half way but the sound is choppy, and when I put them in all the way the headphones go undetected again. I was just wondering if I am missing anything or if there is anything else I can do.
