Hello Apple community,

I have been trying to install OFFICE PREVIEW for MAC, but when i try to open the file "OfficePreview.pkg" this message appears on the screen.

The translation would be The operation could not be completed (error from com.apple.installer.pagecontroller -1.) Can't open "OfficePreview.pkg"

Does anyone knows how to fix this?

Try redownloading it or contacting Microsoft. That's not an Apple product.

Have you tried to use any other Installer packages since this happened?

Download one of the Mac updates from this page:

Try to open the Installer package, but don't go through with the installation.

Open Disk Utility
Create Disk Image (New >> Blank image) large enough to hold the problematice pkg
Open the disk image from its created location and drag-and-drop the pkg into it
Unmount the disk image
Remount the disk image and run the pkg from within
