3d Dashwood and Compressor Problems

I am in FXP X editing stereoscopic footage using Dashwood 3d. I am having problem with the system crashing in FCP

and in Compressor. I tried a 1 minute of a side x side footage test to Compressor. I started out with 4.58 GB of used memory and the

kernel_task at 1.88GB and ends up at ProMSRendererTool 7.8G, Memory Used 23.98GB, and kernel_task 13.33GB. I had

the target resolution set at 720 (SD non square) and the compression format was H-264 for pod casting. I had also tested at target resolution 1920(1080p), but read that H-264 doesn't support 1080p, so I changed it.

I have also tested a one minute 2d file, sending it to Compressor for format H264 and it compressed in 45 sec and completed successfully.

I am using a MAC 3.5 GHz Intel Core i7 Memory 24 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 OS X version 10.9.5

Has anyone else had this issue? Is there some other setting I should be using?

Thanks in advance for your help.
