My Ipod mini shows "www.apple.com/support/ipod " I tried to restore my device also.It shows error as"Something went wrong

If you receive an error message when restoring your iPod, try restoring it while it is in disk mode:

While restoring the device on iTunes shows error as " somethin went wrong "
i tried in different devices still getting same error
please help help me to proceed further
