Updated Macbook - now programs are fuzzy?

I upgraded from a 2010 Macbook pro 13" to a 2015 Macbook pro 13" with Retina Display. It looks great...except some of my programs that I imported from my old Macbook now look fuzzy. I noticed it with Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and Steam. The apple menu looks clear and crisp, but the main area of whatever program looks a bit fuzzy/blurry. How would I fix this? Would I have to change the display on each program to make it "clear"? I'm not having this issue with any web browser, it's just the programs I transferred over (except, strangely, Evernote).
