Same issue, but when I select File > Preferences > Show in Finder, the old Photos Library (shows duplicates w/same file names/sizes) and is 118 GB, the new Photos Library 2 (shows about the same, please new ones added recent) and is 133 GB.

I'm thinking perhaps make a back up of the old one them delete. Thoughts?

Your statement is incorrect, there are duplicates and it is taking up additional space.

then you need to start a new thread because you have a problem - when things are done correctly  there are no duplicates as stated in the answer

since you have a different problem you need to start a different thread (although there is a 99.9% chance that you do not have a different problem but are just not paying attention to the answer) and BTW - attacking people trying to help you is not a good way to get help
