Q: How many users approve IAP through family sharing but don't get their content delivered?
We've been going back and forth with the developer Wargaming over in-app purchases approved through family sharing. We never get the content. This is the only game my sons and I play together. They like to get rewarded with iTunes cards, but the younger ones need approval, as family sharing is intended. My wife and I approve the purchases but Apple has to refund them because they never deliver the content, even though funds were transferred. I was wondering if this affects anyone else at all, and if so, which apps.
FOr our issue, it has been ongoing since iOS 8 came out last fall. I've had several tickets opened and closed. Each time, I've had to get purchases refunded. The only work-around is to go into iCloud and toggle the slider to allow them to make purchases without approval. Then after the content is delivered, I have to go back to iCloud and toggle back again. This process was given to me by iTunes support after a two-hour phone call back in December.
