rewire reason 9

I have reason 8.2...and Logic Pro 9 on OS 10.7.5 I have tried to run Reason rewire but it will not even recognize it. I have done all the steps correctly. The "rewire" button shows up on the face of reason but it is not illuminated.

Rewire runs fine on Reason 5

What can I do?

Please give me steps I can use. Is it deleting certain folders?
