Q: WEBSITES KEEP SAYING MY SAFARI IS NOT UP TO DATE AND IT IS?

My safari is updated and on some websites it tells me it's outdated and to update it.

You did not list your operating system.

If you are on Snow Leopard and do not want or can't upgrade -- you have to change your browser - I use Opera.

You may have adware. Remove unwanted adware that displays pop-up ads and graphics on your Mac - Apple Support
