Can I utilize my 2006 Mac Pro monitor with my iPad 2?

I would like to utilize my large LCD screen that came with my circa 2006 Mac Pro with my iPad 2. In any event, would love to learn more about the monitor and its potential for peripherals. I cannot find any documentation on it. Any info online available for this monitor? Thanks in advance.
