Q: What is the way to find your actual photos on your actual Macbook HD once you have migrated to Photos?

What is the way to find your actual photos on your actual MacBook HD once you have migrated to Photos  I liked the access I previously had with Iphoto.  With Iphotos I could make decisions in finder and the app. Unless, I missed something and I am hoping I did.  Please don't tell me to use - show referenced file in finder.  That is greyed out and doesn't work for most of us.  If there is a sure fire way to get that working than good.  I would be probably satisfied.  But, if not I need to know where the photos are stored.  I use an Iphone 6plus for most photos.  Thanks!

Well, I figured out how to change libraries.  I figured it was the option key or the like.  So good there.  Now just need to see if I copy the whole database on the EHD is successful on a non-journaled EHD.

You can  change that to journaled without reformatting. Select the drive/volume in Disk Utilities left hand pane and use the File ➙ Enable Journaling.. menu option:

Journaling keeps track of changes before they are actually made. So that in the case of a crash or power failure such file systems come back on line quicker and are less likely to be corrupted.

You can do that but you give up features like all of Apple's iCloud services & the benefits of a journalling file system. It is not a very prudent thing to do if your photos are important to you.
