Q: Rotate touchpad gesture under Photos: is it supposed to work ?

Does Photos not support the rotate two-finger-gesture on the touchpad as iPhoto and Aperture did ??

On Photos I cannot get this to work, while it still works on Aperture.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), Photos App

Rotating with two fingers still works in Edit mode.  But you have to have the Crop tool selected.

I usually click the "Auto" button, that is even quicker. If the horizon is visible the picture will straighten automatically.

Most trackpad gestures only work, if "Tap toClick" is enabled in the trackpad settings.

But you cannot rotate photos while viewing the thumbnails with the Trackpad gesture. You have to be in edit mode.

To switch between portrait and landscape orientation while browsing the thumbnails use the ⌘R   or  ⇧⌘R keyboard shortcuts.
