Mid 2014 Macbook, missing things on the OS

I recently had to redo my macbook due to a probably virus after accidentally downloading mackeeper for literally 30 seconds, but anyways, after re-installing the OS (10.10.3) using a boot drive, there are things that seem to be missing (a forced password, I can't change the text size, and this is very trivial but changing the the color of the bar at the top of the screen from white to black) and I'm sure I'll notice some other things....anyways, I have done all the OS updated, so I'm not sure if there is a way to get access to any of those features now.....hopefully someone knows! Thanks

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), Fully Upgraded
