Can I purchase a MacBook Air from an Authorised Reseller overseas and THEN buy AppleCare for that computer from the US online store?
Or is it only possible to get Apple Care if I buy the computer at an Apple Store?
Currently I am living in a country without an Apple Store and am wondering whether to buy a MacBook Air plus AppleCare from a US Apple Store when I am next there. Or whether to buy it here from an Authorized Reseller?

You can buy AppleCare with the purchase of an Apple product when you buy it or separately
within 1 year from the date of purchase of an Apple product.
If you buy Apple product and AppleCare separately, make sure that you register it.
Buy AppleCare along with the Apple product.

I personally would do all of my purchase from the US. Only because I feel it would be a lot less of a HASSEL if you ever need to use this service.'
