iPhone 6 blue screen after it was accidentally dropped in water

I Was taking a bath when I accidentally submerged it in water for literally 1 second. I quickly dried it off and everything was working perfectly but it said it was using the headphone jack instead of the speaker so I restarted it. The apple logo came up and then turned black, and then a blue screen popped up and now it won't turn on anymore. How can this be fiixed? Or will this be covered by the warranty? (iPhone already has up to date software, 8.3)

iPhone 6, iOS 8.3

It only takes a second for water to enter the phone. If you had turned it off immediately, placed in in a sealed plastic bag with uncooked rice or silical gel paks for 3 days, there would have been about 1% chance of salvaging the phone.

Your phone needs to be replaced. Water damage isn't covered by the warranty. You can get an out-ot warranty replacement for $299 (USA)

You can attempt to turn the device off and place in a sealed bag of uncooked rice for a period of 5-7 days to see if that will help. However, since the device was still on and has now failed, I would be willing to guess that the water has gotten to a point where it has damaged vital parts. The only other fix is to replace the device, and no it is user damage and is not covered under warranty. If you have Apple Care Plus, then it would be just a deductible to replace, at $79. If you do not have that, the cost of an out of warranty replacement for the iPhone 6 is $299USD.
