Q: Send my current location did not work

My friend who has an iPhone 6 tried to send me her location the other night. She clicked "Send My Current Location" and the map popped up saying "locating" at the bottom left hand corner of the message. The location was never sent. I thought it was something wrong on my end so I tried it and it worked. I own an iPhone 5S. I doubt that having different phones would be why it doesn't work. Any thoughts?

Hey cduong3410,

Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, someone else tried to send you their location, but you did not receive it, and you were able to send them your location. I would recommend that they read these articles, they may be helpful in troubleshooting their issue.

Get help using Find My Friends - Apple Support

They can attempt to turn location services off and on again for Share My Location.

Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Service
