Q: Macintosh Hard drive

I have been getting messages saying that my startup disk is full. I have deleted everything I don't need and have moved photos and documents onto a USB. I had looked at my storage for the hard drive and a lot of it is used by "other". I was just wondering if anyone can tell me how I can erase everything off of the Macintosh Hard drive so I can start over?

Thanks.
