Q: mac mini not connecting to internet
Hello, I have a Mac Mini purchased just over a year ago. Last night whilst streaming a tv show through Netflix it disconnected half way through the show. Since then it refuses to 'use' the Internet. I have restarted and shut down the unit several times, I have used both the Ethernet connection that is directly connected to the router and also connected it to the Wifi. The Connectivity info shows a valid IP address and shows connected but it isn't.
Any program that requires an internet connection doesn't work, it just tries to connect and stays 'trying' indefinitely. At no point has it said 'not connected to the internet' The internet from my router is working fine, the wifi is working with iPhones iPads and a separate iMac and I have connected the iMac to the same ethernet cable and its perfect.
Any help greatly appreciated as Apple will not help me in any way due to it being outside the 1 year warranty(thanks apple, truly awful service as always)
