I'm getting my iPhone and iPad Safari tracking on my MacBook Desktop. Why?

I've just today started up my new Mac Book Pro.

There must be something different with the iCloud(?) account, because now I get little popup icons at the left of my Dock to signify EVERY time a new Safari page is visited on either of my iPhones or iPad. I can also click on it to open that page. Not sure what its role is - to monitor the activity on the mobile devices?

How do I stop this?

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), Time Capsule, iPhone5, iPadAir2

That is Handoff. It is described in Connect your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Mac using Continuity - Apple Support

You can turn it off using the instructions below which I copied from the above link:

To turn off Handoff on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > General > Handoff & Suggested Apps, and turn off Handoff.

On your Mac, go to System Preferences > General and uncheck the Allow Handoff setting.

Unfortunately, that may or may not be the solution. All INCOMING TEXT MESSAGES to my iPhone are now being displayed on both MacBook Pros on my iCloud account, and my iPad. Not the safari pages/searches. But I have already unchecked Handoff on ALL devices, and restarted, and updated software. But it still happens.

Please help!

See what settings you have on Settings > Messages > Send & Receive and on Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding.
