Q: time machine power light does not come on?

Recently my time machine has been powering off by itself.  Now it doesn't even power on at all.  Has anyone had this experience?  Can it be reset or does it need repaired? Where can I go to have it checked?  Any helpful information would greatly be appreciated.

OS X Lion , Mac OS X (10.6.8)

    If you have an Apple Store near you, take the Time Capsule to them to let them have a look. Otherwise, contact Apple Support for assistance.

    Unfortunately, the Time Capsule will likely need to be replaced, since Apple does not offer repairs or parts for the Time Capsule. If the Time Capsule is less than a year old, Apple will replace the Time Capsule for you. If the Time Capsule is less than 3 years old and you also have AppleCare in effect on one of your Macs, the Time Capsule will likely be covered under the AppleCare coverage.
