No Mountable File Systems error in Finder

I download a 10 GB .DMG file and I tried to open it, but it came up with this window's titlebar saying "Warning" and in the window's text it says "No Mountable File Systems." Is there any way I can do this? Help is appreciated

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
