I know it must be difficult for you to be unable to receive email on your iPad. Let's see if we can get you back up and running. I would suggest that you troubleshoot using the steps in this article -
Get help with Mail on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
It sounds as if you have already done some of the steps and there is no need to repeat them if you have.
