Macbook Pro is running very slow, battery seems to dies faster when its on idle and not plugged, I think something is running that I don't know about.

Here is the EtreCheck I saw that some techs had other people run to see their computer specs.
I am not super computer literate, but I have never had a problem before a few weeks ago, and I don't know exactly what could have happened.

Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

When you see a beachball cursor or the slowness is especially bad, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.

These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select

SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages

from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select

View ▹ Show Log List

from the menu bar at the top of the screen.

Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Scroll back to the time you noted above.

Select the messages entered from then until the end of the episode, or until they start to repeat, whichever comes first.

Copy the messages to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.

The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of it useless for solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.

Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

🙂 Linc, The man, the myth the legend... well thats the way I see it anyway 😀 ever since I got a mac and have been reading these forums I always see your name pop up and think to myself... this guy is a genius! lol, anyway, now tat thats out of the way, I did what you said, I don't always necessarily get a beach ball, it just generally got real lag even when I am not on the internet its not my internet as I have 3 macbook pros and the other 2 are perfectly fine. I opened console and I clicked around for a bit during which time it was slow and one of the times I got a beach ball I copied the 20-30 lines or so during that time.s ::

In the General pane of System Preferences, uncheck the box marked

Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices

Test.

And this is why you are a genius in many peoples eyes... It works perfect, I opened multiple pages, and 3 youtube videos at the same time while clicking around on Facebook to see what would happen, and its dang near perfect if its not perfect... everything ran just fine without one hesitation.

Unfortunately I spoke too soon, I should have played around with my computer for a few days, It started again the following day from when I said it was solved. I checked to make sure that box had now been rechecked and its not, Ive just finally gotten time in my schedule to try again to solve this problem.
