How do you remove unused apps from iTunes?

I'm using the current iTunes and OS. I would like to remove unused apps that are listed in my iTunes.

There is no right click anything then delete option available.

How do I remove an app from the list in iTunes?

Thanks.

I struggled with this simple action for a good amount of time as well. If you are referring to the page that looks like this, you're at the wrong page to delete apps.

To delete the apps off of that page, you will need to head over to this icon

User uploaded file

From there, you should be able to right-click any of the apps that you do not want in your library.

Hope it could be some help to you. If not, let me know.

Thank you Knhaze, that was the trick to remove unwanted apps iTunes.

I found it interesting that when I went to the list it doesn't indicate which apps are installed or not.

So I had to create my own list from the normal listed apps when the phone is plugged in then go to the other list to remove them.

It would be nice if Apple would indicate whats installed or not. But regardless your info was what I needed to remove them. Thanks.

I agree. It would be very convenient for Apple to indicate what is installed and isn't.

My pleasure. I searched for nearly 30 minutes before I managed to figure it out myself. Instructions on other websites were either vague or outdated. I thought it'd be nice to share directions that weren't such.

Glad I could be of help!
