Health App with inactive data source
I am trying to sync my Lose It! app with Apple's Healthkit. When I initially set up my Lose It! App, it popped up an option to share data (specifically weight) with the Health app. I accidentally hit "don't allow" and now, no matter what I do, the Lose it! App doesn't show up as a data source for the Health app. I got so far as to find the share data menu option under Weight in the Health app, but under the Data Sources part, it shows the Lose It! app as inactive.
The whole reason I bought the stupid scale was so it would integrate with my other Apps, specifically the Health app, and I am having a heck of a time with it. When I go to Sources under the main Health App menu, Lose it! shows up, but only for reading the data, not writing it. I have everything enabled on the Lose It! side. My operating system and all apps are up to date.
I have tried deleting the Lose it! App and re-loading it in hopes that it will ask me again to write data, but it never does. I can't even figure out if the issue is with Health or Lose It! 😟
Can anyone help!? This is the least intuitive process known to mankind.
