can't reset apple id password.

i've set up another apple id *@hotmail.com (using my hotmail account) to ask this question.

i have another apple *@me.com(bind to my iphone4s) which i cant remember it's password and for some reason when i try to reset it's password. #1 i have not a clue where or which email it was sending the reset steps to. #2 there is no question for the custom question. so how was i to answer?

i wanted to restore my phone after the os upgrade, but it would not let me as i have the "find my phone" turn on and to off it, i need the password for the *@me.com
i cant enter resort mode because my home button is spoil. so is there anything else i can try?

Welcome to the Apple community.

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.

You will need to show patience with the procedure and be prepared to demonstrate without question that the account belongs to you. Don’t expect access to be restored immediately and if you aren’t the owner of the Apple ID registered to the device the account won’t be reset.
