updated ipad with i0s 8.3 wifi button grayed out

We updated our ipad to 8.3 and now we can not connect to wifi as the wifi button is grayed out. Do you have any idea how to fix this or when the bug fix will be released. We did take the ipad in to have it looked at and they told us to wait until Apple releases new software - hopefully that will work..........
