I want to connect my iPhone 5s to the TV

I have an Apple iPhone 5 and iPod 5th generation 30 pin adapter, a HDMI to HDTV digital AV adapter cable for iPhone 4 4s, and a HDMI cable and am debating whether to order these things because i am not sure if it is going to work. I want to connect my iphone 5s to the HDMI TV. Will this work? I don't have the money to just buy the iPhone 5 digital AV adapter for nearly $50 so i found the iPhone 4 one and bought a iPhone 5 30 pin adapter to connect the two and then plug the HDMI cable into the iPhone 4 digital AV adapter and the tv for a much cheaper price. Is this going to work?

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.3

No. It will not work. The Lightning to 30 Pin adapter does not support Video output.

Product Information

This adaptor lets you connect devices with a Lightning connector to many of your 30-pin accessories.* Supports analogue audio output, USB audio, as well as syncing and charging. Video output not supported.

You absolutely need the Lightning Digital Av Adapter if you want to connect your iPhone 5 to an HDMI Tv.
