Q: my i phone 5 is not syncing with my mac calendar

I am putting items on my calendar on my mac desktop, but they won't sync with my I phone 5

iMac, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)

    If your iCloud calendar items are not syncing across your devices from your Mac, then I'd like you to please follow the troubleshooting in the article below.  To get started with which device needs to be troubleshot, please check first to see if your calendar events are appearing on iCloud.com.  If you do see the events, then select "iOS" in the link below. If the events do not appear on iCloud.com, then you will need to select "OS X."
