Why did Remote Desktop Client update automatically when i don't have it ?

I noticed that an update for Remote Desktop Client was downloaded on to my computer on May 19th, i was not aware i had it and i did not notice the update, i did a spotlight search but Remote Desktop Client,the result was blank.

iMac (24-inch Early 2009), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

The Remote Desktop Client is installed on all Mac computers. It's not for you to remote out to another computer, its for a remote administrator to remote into your computer. It's normal to receive updates to it and doesn't pose a threat to your computer unless you activate remote management in the Sharing pane of System Preferences.

Why did Remote Desktop Client update automatically when i don't have it ?
