Q: FaceTime locks up the iPad when making phone calls

FaceTime phone calls on iOS 8 don't work with iPad. I have several iPads and the screen locks up if I try to make or answer a phone call. It's very frustrating having to hunt down my iPhone in order to hang up the call. Is anyone going to fix this feature? It used to work befor they broke the software in an "update".

Hi Zombiepc,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like you are not able to use FaceTime on the iPad. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

I rebooted all my iPads and the iPhone and now it seems to be working again. I only tested a FaceTime audio phone call from one iPad so far, however, I think this will solve the problem on all of them. I have these issues every time there is an update to iOS. Maybe the FaceTime link from iPhone to iPad needs to be refreshed after an update to the iOS.
