one of my contacts does not show up n FaceTime

I got my daughter a new iPhone. However, when I went to FaceTime her from my phone book, FaceTime does not show up under her information. One more thing, it does show up in her phone listing on my iPad.

Are you both using the same AppleID for FaceTime?

If so, one of you should use another unique Apple ID.

I am not sure if she has her apple ID listed in the info. However, that does not explain why the FaceTime icon shows up in my address book for her on my iPad.

You have to check both your devices in

Settings > FaceTime > You can be reached by FaceTime at > make sure only your info & AppleID are listed here, not hers.
